Ridley Bikes Grifn 105, grigio/arancione (rich orange metallic)

Curtain up for the Grifn - the all-road bike that is fast and strong on any terrain, from smooth asphalt to dirt roads. The model was specially developed for riders whose bike should be able to do one thing above all: everything.

The Grifn is made for tough and long rides, exploring new routes and making fabulous memories. No road is too far for this bike. In developing the Grifn, Ridley combined the speed of a thoroughbred road bike with the comfort of a gravel bike.

With its 990 gram frame (unpainted, size M), the Grifn is a fast and comfortable road bike that is also ready for off-road rides with a maximum tyre clearance of 38 mm. There is even the option of running 40 mm tyres with a 1-speed drivetrain or fitting mudguards and dynamo-powered lights, making the Grifn usable for all purposes: so in addition to riding on asphalt and gravel, it is also suitable for commuting and long-distance rides.

With the Grifn, the rider is no longer confined to a specific terrain. The bike is perfect for those who don't want to choose between road and gravel. If you are looking for a gravel bike and want to explore scenic road bike routes, or if you want to be able to switch to gravel routes at will, the Grifn is the perfect bike for you. With the Grifn, Ridley breaks with the N+1 rule in cycling.

The name refers to "Griffin", the English translation for the mythical griffin - an animal with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. The legendary hybrid creature symbolises the dominion over two worlds: Heaven and Earth. With asphalt and gravel, Ridley's Grifn also masters two different elements thanks to its versatility. With the Grifn, riders not only have access to the fastest racing bike routes, but also to the most beautiful gravel tours.

To ensure that the Grifn can be taken in any direction, the bike can be set up as both a road bike and a gravel bike and can be fully adapted to the rider's wishes. So the Grifn is not only ideal for road and gravel rides, but also makes a perfect commuter and long-distance bike.

A completely new bike design brings new shapes and geometry. The geometry of the Grifn is suitable for both asphalt and gravel and was developed according to Ridley's KOG principle (Kanzo Optimised Geometry). This means that the geometry is optimally tuned to achieve the best handling for the riding conditions the bike is designed for. This is reflected in some of the geometry's key data, such as the steering angle and the bottom bracket drop.

The result is a fast, responsive yet stable and balanced all-road bike. The Grifn is a road-ready gravel bike that offers enough comfort for long rides on rough terrain, but is also aggressive enough for a Gran Fondo. This makes it the perfect companion on the long haul.

Its features, its geometry and the possibility of running both a 1-speed and a 2-speed drivetrain make the Grifn an extremely versatile bike that offers endless possibilities for use. In short: with the Grifn, Ridley consistently challenges the N+1 rule in cycling.
