Cane Creek DebonAir IL Sospensione posteriore 184x44 mm
Setting the DBair IL apart from other inline shocks, oil circulates continuously through externally adjustable shock valves. Twin-tube shocks have two main chambers, a compression chamber, and a rebound chamber, separated by the adjustable valves. The main damping piston forces damping oil between the compression and rebound chambers via the externally adjustable damping valves.
Compared to other shocks in its class, Cane Creek inline shocks use significantly more oil in the damper; 40-50% more oil. On the trail, this routing of oil translates into less fade, more control, and greater consistency.
CS Technology
CS is the most innovative climbing technology on the market. The proprietary climbing function (patent pending) of the double shock changes the overall low-frequency dynamics of the shock, which is especially needed for uphill riding requirements.
4-way adjustment
By means of two hexagonal bolts inserted into each other, the outer one can be used for high-speed compression and rebound and the inner one for low-speed compression and rebound. For adjustment, Cane Creek offers a small tool that fits in any pocket or backpack. In addition, knobs have been omitted to keep the dimensions of the somewhat voluminous damper small. The adjustment range of the Double Barrel Air is extremely wide and covers a very broad spectrum of rear end characteristics without having to resort to corresponding tunings. The "coil hardness" can of course be adjusted by air via a damper pump.
