The MB WEAR anti-pollution mask is intended for use by urban cyclists exposed to dust and other exhaust emissions during their daily commute in the city.

It is neither a surgical medical device nor a personal protective device. The mask is manufactured and marketed as a mask for civilian and sports use made of 3-layer fabric with external waterproofing, with an internal membrane that prevents the entry of outside air. It isolates the mouth and nose from airborne contamination of the external environment, while allowing sufficient perspiration.

The mask fabric has been extensively tested. The air permeability test shows that the air passage is equal to 0 litre/mm/sec. The water column test shows that the water column is equal to or greater than 10,000 mm (10 m). Finally, the ASTM and 96 BW breathability test shows that the breathability reaches 11,000 g / m2 / 24h.
