The Zeal Thermal is the most thermally insulated wetsuit in Orca’s range. It features technology for maximum heat retention, such as its Thermal X2 inner lining and its second “batwing” layer of neoprene, which prevents water from entering the zipper and neck area. The high-thickness panels provide high buoyancy without affecting flexibility, thanks to the use of Yamamoto 40+ technology that provides maximum elasticity, for total freedom of movement in cold water.

Yamamoto 40X+
The Yamamoto 40 technology from Orca's top wetsuits, combined with the Thermal X lining, offers open water swimmers a feeling of total freedom while protecting them from the cold. These technologies make the wetsuit 65% easier to stretch and give athletes optimal mobility in the shoulder area.

V Fit
Orcas wetsuits for women are specifically tailored to the female body to enhance performance and comfort. The improved fit allows the materials to work at their optimum stretch range and the adhesion of the neoprene to the skin prevents water penetration, improving thermal insulation and hydrodynamics.

39X2
In the torso area, Yamamoto 39 neoprene, with a thickness of up to 5 mm, and Thermal X2 lining provide maximum protection against the cold where it is needed most, without compromising water position or restricting freedom of movement. This material has a 95% higher insulating effect than without wearing a wetsuit. The high-performance Thermal-X2 lining stores body heat more efficiently than conventional inner materials. It is also soft, comfortable to the touch and offers the greatest comfort during open water swimming.

YKK10
YKK 10 zips are high performance and durable components. The robustness of these zips ensures a long life, and precise construction prevents water from entering the wetsuit during swimming.

Batwing
The "Batwing" construction prevents heat loss through the back zip. It consists of an extra layer of neoprene that prevents water seeping through the zip from coming into direct contact with the body and retains a layer of warm water inside. In addition, the Batwing provides a very slim fit at the neck, reducing chafing and water ingress in the area.

USC
In combination with the Hydrolite lining, the laser-cut collar seals the wetsuit and prevents chafing. Water ingress is prevented and thermal insulation and hydrodynamics are improved.
